LAW OF CONFESSION

Mark 11:23 “for assuredly, I say to you whoever SAYS to this mountain be removed and be cast into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart but believes that those things he SAYS will be done, he will have whatever things he SAYS.

Rom 10 “…….The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart. That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised him, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation”

One way of activate faith is by saying. The mouth is one important part of the body that is a tool use by a believer to command results. In the creation we find out that the only thing God did was to speak “let there be” and the bible said that God worked, never in the account of the creation that we see God use his hand, leg or any parts of his body except his mouth but here we are on the earth with the many beautiful things that he created.

Confession is very essential to survive on earth. If you don’t make use of your mouth the devil will deprive you of the blessings that Jesus got for us on the cross. In Christ we are in a walking position on earth, a sitting position in heaven and a standing position in hell. Sitting position in heaven because Christ has done it all, so we can all rest from works, standing position in hell because we stand to enforce what the Lord has done for us, that we are already victorious in the Lord Jesus, but here on earth we are in a walking position meaning that life is progressive we have to speak what we see in heaven here on earth.

The bible said that “God has blessed us with every spiritual blessings” Eph 1:3 and 2pet 1:3 “….His divine power has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness.” In Heaven we are in a sitting position, all these things have been given to us but for us to have access to them we have to confess these things to existence in the earth realm. In mark 11:24, we discovered that the word ‘SAY’ appears 3 times, it appears 3 times because saying is more important than believing infact it is better to speak rightly and believe wrongly than to speak wrongly and believe rightly. Because faith comes by hearing, so even if you are struggling with believing keep on speaking those words over your life and you will discover that over time you will suddenly believe what you are saying. Even in salvation until you confess Jesus as Lord you are not saved, you must believe in your heart and confess with your mouth.

If confession can get a man (Zoe-God’s very life) which is the greatest miracle on earth, then what is it on earth that confessing and believing can’t get? The bible says that the power of the life and death is in the tongue” we have to watch what we say. As believers, we speak only the finished works of Christ. Words like I am sick should not come out of your mouth, or I am poor or anything that contradicts what Christ has done, remember that the power of life and death is in the tongue. Speak only the thing you desire your life and then don’t change your confession.

Believers are to hold fast to their confessions and never change it no matter what. In the account of Lazarus in John, Jesus said that the sickness was not unto death, but down the chapter we discovered that the Lazarus died. Just because you said something and a different thing happened does not mean that you don’t have faith or that God does not love you, is Jesus not a man of faith? Does God not love Jesus? Then why did Lazarus died?

Lazarus death was only a lie from hell; it is a test of faith. But Jesus did not panic or lose hope, Jesus still stock to his confession, he said “our friend Lazarus sleeps” never change your confession even if things does not turn out the way your said. Just keep speaking it and in due time you shall see change.

Sometimes, we use peoples situation or circumstance to judge ourselves. Just because some said he is not taking drugs and that he is believing God for healing and he died as a result of the sickness. That does not mean you will die unless you believe it. Some believers say things like it did not work for so and so, this is unbelief, Christianity is a personal walk with God just focus on the lamb slain and don’t accept the bad report of others remember the twelve spies and how only two (2) ate of the good of the land because they accepted the finished work of Christ and while the rest of them accepted the report of the earth.

The two men Caleb and Joshua, ate the good of the land because they saw the finished works, they said that God has already given them the land. Please never confess without seeing the finished works of Christ or else you will be frustrated. Keep talking dey talk, because the word dey work!
